It rhymes with “hockey”! An Oche is your own Social Darts playing area, complete with a dartboard, throw line, and space for your group to eat, drink and mingle. Each Oche holds up to 12 guests, with groups of 13–24 needing two Oches and 25 or more requiring three.
We’d strongly recommend booking ahead - our Oches are popular and fill up fast! Walk-ins are welcome for food and drinks any time, but Social Darts is often fully booked. If there’s space, we’ll get you playing; if not, you can enjoy a drink or bite at the bar until an Oche is free.
Yes, we do require pre-payment for our Social Darts bookings. If numbers for your booking decrease, we can refund any reduction in numbers or refund the booking if at least 48 hours notice is given before your booking date.
Each oche holds up to 12 guests - we allocate you the oches required based on your group size! For groups of up to 12 players we allocate you 1 oche, for groups of 13-24 players we allocate you 2 oches & for groups of 25-36 players we allocate you 3 oches.
Sadly not, only Flight Club darts can be used. Our World’s first darts vision system only recognises our darts (each weighing 22g), and we provide one set per Oche for health and safety. We have to look after our guests.
If your group size will be less than 12, then our team can arrange any additional payments required on the day. If you’ll be more than 12, please contact us as soon as possible for the team to arrange an additional playing space, as we cannot guarantee any additional availability during your booking time. If your group size reduces, we’ll add the individual price paid to your food and drinks tab.
Yes, of course! You're welcome to book a table for after (or before) your booking, or we will do our best to accommodate you on the day.
Children of all ages are welcome in our venues during daytime trading hours. Guests aged 8–17 are welcome to play Social Darts when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. All sessions must conclude and children must leave the venue by 5pm at our Newtown venue, and by 6pm at all other venues.
Your Stories can take up to 24 hours to generate and are sent to the lead booker’s email. Don’t forget to check your junk folder, as they could be hiding!
Absolutely! Each Oche comes with some table space so you can tuck into sharing plates and pizzas while you play. We’ve designed our menu for social snacking - perfect for grabbing a slice or bite between turns, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options available.
There’s no dress code at Flight Club - suits, jeans, or even fancy dress, it’s all welcome! We do recommend enclosed shoes (our darts are sharp, after all), but we totally get that thongs are a summer staple in Australia. All we ask is that your outfit is safe and not offensive and no steel cap boots.
Absolutely! Start a bar tab on the day with a physical card, or pre-arrange one before your booking. Wristbands are provided, and you can set limits or exclusions (e.g. beer & wine only).
We don’t have on-site parking - please use nearby street or paid parking.
If you've left something behind during your visit to Flight Club, our team will do their best to help track it down. Please reach out to us HERE with as much detail as possible, including the date of your visit, your booking name, and a description of the item. This will help us locate it more quickly. While we take care in handling lost property, items are held for a limited time and we're unable to guarantee that all belongings will be recovered. If we do find your item, we'll be in touch to arrange collection.
